ENRICH GLOBAL operational manager, Kseniia Savchenko, was selected and invited to participate in the program Ukrainian Business Leaders: Promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Washington, Austin, and San Diego, USA among 20 other participants who were selected by high-competitive program among top Ukrainian mid-level leaders, who develop entrepreneurship projects and ecosystem.
This workshop gave great networking and growth opportunities for ENRICH GLOBAL – to be seized in the future! It is also significant in line with ENRICH GLOBAL lightouse initiative Support Ukraine innovation.
The program is sponsored by the U.S. State Department of State (Public Diplomacy Section, US Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine) and implemented by the American Councils for International Education.
The first part of the study tour was held in American Councils for International Education office in Washington DC. The opening remarks were kindly provided by Dr David P.Pattron, President and CEO of American Councils, Ms.Sherry Keneson-Hall, Representative of the U.S. Department of State, and Oksana Markarova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States. During the further US-Ukraine Business Council panel discussion the panellists shared great insights on the US-Ukraine business cooperation with the cohort. The first part finished with the Leadership workshop held by Joe Kapp from the National Center for Resource Development – NCRD, United States.
The second part of Study tour was organized by Texas Global, the University of Texas at Austin. During the tour participants had workshops with Texas Veterans Commission representatives, Tracy Arrington on Customer Data Privacy, Rebecca Taylor – Interim Director of Austin Technology Incubator, had site visits to Sputnik ATX and Kendra Scott Women`s Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute. Moreover, participants had an opportunity to join the SXSW International Welcome Breakfast and to visit Capital Factory House @ SXSW Startup Crawl and some other events within SXSW.
The final part of the Tour was held in San Diego and organized by San Diego Diplomacy Council. During the last part fellows met with Amy Duncan, the Director of the Brink Small Business Development Center at the University of San Diego, visited Red Door Interactive to learn more about marketing practices and Hera Hub to investigate women entrepreneurship, San Diego Regional Economic Development Center, UCSD Park & Market. Also, they had an inspirational workshop with Brianna Weisinger, the Director of San Diego and Imperial City Small Business Development Center and a series of other workshops and activities. The tour was finished with a meeting with Mira Rubin, the President of the House of Ukraine in San Diego.
