We officially launched our Sustainability and Climate Change Thematic Group last May in Malta, powered by Enrich Global and led by Dr. Chrysi Laspidou, UTH with co-lead by Marcela Flores, ANPEI, and Elena Lopez Gunn, Icatalist. In this session, we introduced the Thematic Group, and its role in promoting best practices and policy dialogues on sustainability and climate change through establishing a “smart” international community platform across projects and initiatives. We also gathered insights from our Nexusnet partners on the importance of establishing a network of networks, their challenges, expectations and needs, to conclude international collaborations to ensure sustainability, and mitigate and act towards climate change.
- Building partnerships and expanding networks through working together with other members on EU proposals and innovations.
- Exchanging knowledge
- Co-developing solutions and policy dialogues
Based on the above, we are currently identifying our stakeholders, and platform features.
In addition to that, the Sustainability and Climate Change Thematic Group has also been announced at the Sustainability Science Days event in Helsinki Finland, and the CEPEME event in Greece. Taking place during these events under the ARSINOE project, we have grown to 33 members, bringing together experts and innovators from EU, and MENA just in one month.
Stay tuned for our joint meeting after the summer holidays.
