Sebastian Engell is an Emeritus Professor at TU Dortmund where he led the Process Dynamics and Operations Group for 23 years and graduated already more than 90 PhD students. He coordinated several European projects, including the Support Action “Cyber-physical Systems of Systems” that drafted a roadmap for European R&D in this area. He won several best paper awards and an ERC Advanced Research Grant. He currently is the Chair of the Advisory and Planning Group of A.SPIRE which represents the private sector in the Private Public Partnership Processes4Planet with the European Commission. As Vice-Rector for Research and International Collaboration and Commissioner of the Rector for International Relations and through various EU-funded projects, he gained ample experience in transnational academic and technical cooperation.
Sebastian joined ENRICH GLOBAL in early 2024 as the Project Director for the INPACE Project where he is the coordinator for India and Singapore and co-leader of Thematic Working Groups.
